LXIIII // Traduzione: A Giulio Cesare Aranzi, bolognese, filosofo e medico, che con massimo concorso e plauso degli studenti, per primo dalla fondazione di questa università, professò pubblicamente l'anatomia del corpo umano: a perpetua memoria del fatto gli elettori insieme coi prefetti d'anatomia posero in onore del benemerito maestro, addì 1° febbraio 1564. Translation: In the name of God, to Giulio Cesare Aranzi of Bologna, philosopher and physician, learned man, who for the first time since the founding of the University publicly professed human anatomy with great attendance and applause of the students. To the perpetual memory of this event the Electors and the Prefects of anatomy placed this monument in honour of the deserving master, 1st February 1564.
