MDVC Traduzione: A Carlo Caprara, dottore dell'uno e dell'altro diritto, canonico e patrizio bolognese, per la sua inimitabile acutezza ed eloquenza nello spiegare il diritto pontificio e per l'affetto dimostrato agli studiosi delle leggi; e ad Alberto suo fratello, che con grande lode all'insegnamento del diritto civile mirabilmente si dedicò finchè visse e a sè morto guadagnò onore eterno: e due università dei Giuristi dedicarono a perpetua memoria; priore Carlo Sigismondo Feierabendt, anno 1595 Translation: To the famous and excellent Carlo Caprara , Doctor of both laws, Canon and Bolognese patrician, for his inimitable subtlety and copiousness in explaining papal law and his affection towards lovers of the law, and to the famous and excellent Alberto, his brother, who devoted his outstanding energy to teaching civil law, to exceptional praise as long as he lived, and with his death achieved eternal honour.
