IGNATIO VASQZ LVSITANO LAMACENSI PRIOR.S / AN. D. MDXCI // Traduzione: Ad Evangelista Vignati, dottore dell'uno e dell'altro diritto. La migliore mercede che si possa dare alla virtù è la lode e l'onore acquistato è viva gloria che viene ai meriti; perciò la gioventù studiosa del sacro diritto, per quanto niente possa essere degno del Vignati, memore del suo debito, affisse questa tavola, col suo nome, perchè lo proclami in perpetuo. Essendo priori Ludovico Arelli da Roma e il reverendo Inácio Vasques portoghese da Lamego, l'anno 1591. Translation: To the excellent Evangelista Vignati, Doctor of both laws. Since praise is the best reward owed to virtue and the possession of honour for merits is a great glory, the students of both kinds of sacred law, although nothing can be worthy of Vignati, fixed this tablet with his name as a memorial of what they owe, as a perpetual message to future times. While Ludovico Arelli of Rome and the reverend Inácio Vasques of Lamego in Portugal were Priors, 1591.
