IVRIS AMATORES HVC IAM PROPERATE FREQVENTES, NEC PIGEAT TANTVM CONSVLVISSE VIRVM. Traduzione: A Giacomo Canobi giureconsulto. Mentre, o Canobi, lieta ti guarda dall' Olimpo, Astrea dice "Costui è mia vera prole; a costui ho affidato gli arcani del mio pensiero; costui spiega con la mia bocca i propri significati delle leggi ". O amatori del diritto, affrettatevi qua in gran numero nè vi rincresca d'aver consultato un così grand'uomo. Tutte queste iscrizioni sono state fatte sotto gli auspicii di Cesare Soglia, che trae la sua origine dalla nobile città di Milano e come priore ha governato, o Felsina, il tuo Ginnasio. Translation: To the illustrious and excellent man Giacomo Canobi, most famous lawyer. While joyously from Olympia, Astrea looks at you, Canobi, she says, "Here is my true offspring, to this man I have confided the secrets of my heart, this man explains the appropriate meanings of the laws with my mouth."
