MAX. // Traduzione: Piacque ai consiglieri che la principale classe del Ginnasio fosse decorata con le insegne delle loro famiglie, dei nomi e del grado, a ornamento della città, a splendore della Università, a incitamento dei posteri, per il desiderio di lasciare memoria della loro buona amministrazione e dimostrare che sono stati ligi ai doveri degli uffici bene meritati. Translation: It pleased the councillors that the chief class of the University should be decorated with the insignia of their families and honours, to be an adornment to the city, a glory to the University and an encouragement to their successors, to leave a memorial of their good administration and to show their devotion to the University.
