MDCCXIX Traduzione: A Stefano Danielli, in età d'anni 64, filosofo e medico, cittadino bolognese, amicissimo delle Muse, accademico onorario dell'Istituto delle Scienze, lettore meritevolissimo. Più volte eseguì pubblicamente la dissezione del cadavere umano, molti discepoli qui e in casa istruì, salì due volte sulla cattedra di anatomia, dimostrò la sua gratitudine verso il suo maestro Sbaraglia, pubblicò le sue opere: perciò in segno di affetto, Antonio Ronchi da Modena, priore estivo e le due università degli Artisti posero, l'anno 1719. Translation: In the name of God, to the famous man Stefano Danielli in his sixty-fourth year, Doctor of philosophy and medicine, citizen of Bologna, close friend of the Muses, honorary Academician of the Institute of Sciences, most deserving teacher, for having demonstrated the dissection of the human body on several occasions, for having taught many pupils both in the University and at home. He ascended the chair of anatomy on two occasions; he assiduously contributed to the debates in the anatomy theatre; he showed his gratitude to his teacher Sbaraglia by publishing his works. Therefore, conquered by love, Antonio Ronchi of Modena, summer Prior and the two Universities of arts place this monument, 1719.
