Procolo di varie discipline, dovunque di pietà modestia e umanità, addetto alla nazione tedesca e polacca, scelto da moltissimi laureandi in teologia come promotore: Bernardino Qrlandotto da Cremona priore delle due università degli Artisti, insieme coi consiglieri, per esprimere, in qualche modo, non tanto, col colore di questo inciso marmo, la sincerità, quanto, con la solidità, la costanza dell'ossequio scolpito profondamente negli animi di tutti, l'anno 1640. Translation: In the name of God, to Girolamo Bendandi of Ravenna, who upholds the ancient glory of the monks of Montecassino, exceptional Professor of sacred theology in this University, of various subjects at San Proculo, of piety, modesty and kindness everywhere, assigned to the German and Polish nations, chosen as promoter by many seeking degrees in sacred theology.
