Traduzione: La memoria di Ottavio Amorini, celeberrimo dottore dell'uno e dell'altro giure, facondissimo interprete e umanissimo maestro delle istituzioni, gli scolari, a proprie spese, consacrarono con questo monumento segno della loro gratitudine, su proposta di Alessandro Monzioni da Lucca, l'anno 1600, con l'assenso di Andrea Gulmanelli da Faenza, priore dei Giuristi.
