MARTII AB INCARNATO VERBO MDCLVI Traduzione: A Pompeo Bolognetti, patrizio bolognese, filosofo e medico collegiato, che, vissuti con lode nove lustri insegnando e rnedicando, adottò veramente come suo il nome anziché il congedo d'emerito: l'università degli Artisti all'uomo integerrimo e benemerito degli studi, in segno d'ossequio e di gratitudine; con l'assenso del priore conte Giovanni Cocconito del Monferrato addì 12 marzo 1656. Translation: To Pompeio Bolognetti, Bolognese patrician, philosopher and physician of the college, who having laudably traversed nine five year terms teaching and practising, truly took on himself the name rather than the privilege of the emeritus. The University of arts places this monument of gratitude and respect to a man of the greatest integrity and meritorious for his writing, with the agreement of the illustrious Count Giovanni Cocconito of Monferrato, most worthy Prior, 12 March, 1656 from the incarnation of the Word.
