Traduzione: A Ovidio Montalbani, per più di 30 anni dottore collegiato di filosofia e medicina, e per 28 anni professore pubblico sulle cattedre di logica fisica matematica etica, al quale anche il lauro del diritto conferì plaudendo Astrea, uomo sommamente benemerito, per ciò che insegnò e fece, di tutti gli studenti e dell'intera patria bolognese, le due università degli Artisti posero in segno di gratitudine l'anno 1652, nel mese di novembre; era priore Antonio Forner tirolese. Translation: In the name of God, to Ovidio Montalbani, Doctor of the College of philosophy and medicine for more than thirty years, and for twenty eight years public Professor in the chairs of logic, physics, mathematics and ethics, completed gloriously. Astraea applauding conferred the laurel of law on him. To a man of the greatest merit for his teaching and actions towards all the students and the entire homeland of Bologna, the two Universities of arts placed this sign of gratitude in the month of November 1652, while Antonio Forner from the Tyrol was Prior.
