HOW TO GET HERE
From the Train Station
- on foot (1.5 km): from Piazza delle Medaglie d'oro continue along Via
dell'Indipendenza until Piazza Maggiore, turn right onto Via dell'Archiginnasio
and continue on until Piazza Galvani 1
- bus A and A/: Piazza Galvani stop
ACCESS
To gain access to the Library, it is necessary to be at least 14 years
old and have a valid ID card.
Persons with disabilities can access the Library from
the ticket office of the Archeological Museum (Via dell'Archiginnasio
2) or can use the entrance in Via Foscherari which is equipped with an
elevator (please ring the doorbell and wait for a response from the video-intercom).
Please deposit any bags or books in the lockers (it is not permitted to
enter the Library with personal books without an authorization).
The Archiginnasio, with the exception of the Reference Room, is a closed-stack
library.
The users' personal data, in compliance with the law on privacy, is
used only for statistical and service information.
